Media Specialist

The Media Specialist plays a key role in advancing Carolina University’s brand through high-quality visual storytelling and strategic media creation. This position supports the Communications Department by producing professional photography, videography, physical and print design work for product creation, digital media assets for marketing, promotional, and social media use. The ideal candidate is a creative and technically skilled individual who is cross-trained in media production, visual editing, and trend-based content strategy, with a passion for telling compelling stories that reflect the mission and values of the university. The Media Specialist reports to the Director of Communications and works closely with the Media Specialist Team Lead to complete daily tasks, collaborate on projects, and support university-wide communication initiatives.

This student employment position supports community outreach by participating in volunteer activities at local schools. Students in this role will assist with various service projects, educational programs, and school events that strengthen partnerships between the university and surrounding communities.

The Campus Life Security Student Workers are required to do rounds and look for vulnerabilities and security problems that may arise on campus, focusing especially on the prevention of crime, safety, and orderly conduct of persons on or near campus.
